INTRODUCING THE WAY OF STUDYING.
Objectives:
Making students get familiar with English 7 and students know how to learn and use English.
Content:
Vocabulary In the textbook
Structure
: Teaching aids
English 7, Exercise book 7 and another books. Pictures, real objects ………
IV. Teaching procedures:
Introduction about learning English 7:
A school year has : 37 weeks x 3 periods / a week = 1111 periods.
The first semester has 19 weeks x 3 periods / a week = 57 periods. (from Unit 1 to Unit 8).
The Second semester has 18 weeks x 3 periods / a week = 54 periods. (from Unit 9 to Language focus 5).
Introducing the way of studying English 7:
- Every Unit has: + new words.
+ Structures
+ Listening
+ Reading
+ Speaking and Writing.
- Developing 4 skills: Listening, speaking, reading, writing.
Speaking is very important.
V. Homework:
Asking students to prepare Unit 1 – A 1,2 .

UNIT 1: BACK TO SCHOOL
Objectives:
After completing the lesson, students can greet everybody , agree with others , Ask about transportation & distances ,Identify oneself and talk to their friends.
Introducing themselves to the others.

* Expression : Hi, hello
Nice to see you, nice to meet you
1 .Vocabulary :
Parents, still, different, unhappy, also, see , meet .
2. Structures:
- Present simple tense.
- Comparatives.
III . Techniques:
- Brainstorming, questions and answers,
- work in pairs/groups.
IV . Teaching aids:
Cassette player, textbook, extra board ,OHT ,flash card ,real objects .
V. Procedures: Unit 1 part A1,2 .

- What do you do during your summer vocation ?
- what do you say to your friends when you first meet after the summer holiday ?

Elicit & guide Ss how to practice new words.
- Have Ss practice the dialogue
Teacher reviews the phrases or grammar
Teacher lets Students practice the dialogue in pairs.
-Raise the questions :What class is she in ?
Where is she from ? who is she staying with ?
Have them answer the questions in the textbook.
Write them on the blackboard.
Correct their answers.
Practice:
Practice with their partner.
Answer the questions.
Teacher asks Students to look at the pictures and reads the passage in the textbook.
Ask Students to find the new words in the passage
Students read the dialogue and answer the questions.
